Mighty Huachucas in their place

"As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts."

— Isaiah

Couldn't be better - great quote & beautiful pic!
Thanks! It was a *spine-tingling spiritual moment for me.

*(possibly due to the buildup of ions from the building thunderstorm—for you atheists out there)
Like the opinions expressed here. Will check back.

I am at easy cheesecake recipeif you wish to check it out:-)
Isaiah thought quite a lot of himself, didn't he?
Chester, those are the words of Jahweh as spoken to the prophet. You silly boy.
Yeah, but when the bourbon was talkin' to Jim Morrison, Jim still claimed the words as his own. Isaiah shoulda prefaced those remarks with, "Folks, Jahweh wasn't able to be here tonight, because he's accepting the Burning Bush award in Atlantic City. But he sends his best wishes to you all, and asked to give you this message..."
Well, Chet, He kinda did. The book of Isaiah begins with:

1 The vision concerning Judah and Jerusalem that Isaiah son of Amoz saw during the reigns of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.

2 Hear, O heavens! Listen, O earth!
For the LORD has spoken:

Then he goes on into many chapters of prophecy...
Did you guys know that among the Dead Sea Scroll findings of the 1950s was a completely intact copy of the Book of Isaiah?

Israel has enshrined this manuscript inside a specially equipped museum, which, say, in the event of a nuclear attack, can cause the manuscript display to be suddenly retracted deep into the earth through some sort of spring-loaded mechanical device, like a stiletto.
