Backdoor View

As I worked this evening, somebody said, "Hey, look at the sunset!"

I rarely ignore the call.

This time I had my camera with me.

The view is from Veterans Drive. The flags belong to the VFW.

Ha. Teddy. Back-door man.
Dontcha just love those colors inna sky?
Yes, the colors are gorgeous - I'm glad you had your camera with you =)...I've learned the hard way to never leave home without mine (next to my keys and credit cards, of course...... lol)
Thanks, Peggi. I knew you'd like it.
"Some people, they like to go out dancing
And other peoples, they have to work,
And there's even some evil mothers
Well they're gonna tell you that everything is just dirt
Y'know that, women, never really faint
And that villains always blink their eyes, woo!
And that, y'know, children are the only ones who blush!
And that, life is just to die!
And, everyone who ever had a heart
They wouldn't turn around and break it
And anyone who ever played a part
Oh wouldn't turn around and hate it!"

(Lou Reed had a birthday today. He turned 64). "Sweet Jane" was released, recorded by the "Velvet Underground", sometime around this date in 1966.
Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
gonna grab some afternoon delight.
My motto's always been; when it's right, it's right.
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night.
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day.
And you know the night is always gonna be there any way.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
looking forward to a little afternoon delight.

Theo, I think that's a song about having sex before it's dark. I dunno if that's fambly oriented.

But, I guess with pitchers of "entertainers"...
Well, you see, the sun hadn't yet gone down in this image that I had posted. And you (not me) raised the "Backdoor Man" issue, hmmmm?
One a you guys needs to get laid
Well. It ain't me or Ted. I guess that don't leave nobody but the Blind Lemon.
