Huachuca Mountains, from Mexico

This is near the headwaters of the San Pedro River, which originates in Sonora, Mexico.

Lookin' pretty calm there, Theo. Not like the deluges of monsoonal weather we've survived this past week. I'm still feelin' a wee bit on the soggy side.
About an hour before I took this photo, while my Mexican friends and I were hiking deep into riverine country on their side, those Huachucas were shrouded by heavy dark curtains of rainshowers. We, too, were threatened by rain. And all around us the thunder boomed. We finally got out of there, and without their Dodge Ram 4WD trucks, we'd probably still be back there.
